I am Claire, I love the science of food and I love experimenting with different ingredients to create weird and wonderful flavours and creations.
From a young age I always experimented with food, not always with good results wither. But sometimes experimentations that turn out awfully are the best, most fun ones because you learn from them, you learn what didn't work so you improve for the next time. From chilli powder flavoured sausage rolls to ketchup flavoured ones, I explored many avenues for sausage rolls at GCSE level for Food Technology.
I suppose I always knew what route I was going to go down without even actually realising or acknowledging it!
While at university my experimenting continued from tortillas to cheesecakes I have tried various ways of creating them all. But, the experimenting and product creating won't stop there, I hope to continue down this route for a long time!
